SUBSTANCE: in a device for stopping of a bolt or a nut, comprising a washer with an edge bent to the face of the nut, and a tab, at the end of the bolt there is a slit along the width of the tab, and the bent part of the washer covers all side faces of the nut and is equipped with slots, dividing it into identical sectors, and slots arranged on the surface of these sectors, made along the width of the tab ends, at the same time it is possible to make both one slot arranged in the centre of symmetry of each sector and several slots arranged along the entire surface of the sector, the tab is made as a separate part.

EFFECT: availability of structural changes makes it possible to perform reliable stopping without application of additional forces, simplifies a device and a stopping process in general.
