FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: launching facility for weapon of torpedo type includes a supporting frame with electrical connectors of electrical communication of a ship control system of launching, engagement elements, a box-type element and possibility of installing transport launching containers combined into two rows and into a unit, a protective armoured split casing of "П" shape in cross section with an opening/closing actuator, and service platforms. The casing includes two shutters equipped with shutter balancing devices, a multilayered cover from fibreglass, ceramic elements, glass-fibre laminate, high-strength steel and a high-elasticity binding agent. The opening/closing actuator of the casing includes two crank-screw turning gears with a lead screw and a nut, a crank arm and a shaft. The shutter balancing device includes at least one torsion bar.

EFFECT: invention allows increasing operating safety of launching facilities at action of adverse factors.
