FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: device for fixation of an additional equipment element, and mainly of a sighting device, on the weapon in the section of its barrel, housing of bolt or cartridge chamber consists of ferromagnetic material having supporting plate (4; 15) from non-ferromagnetic material or material that is resistant to magnetisation and at least one magnetic device (21) installed in supporting plate (4; 15) directly or indirectly. With that, supporting plate (4; 15) has surface (5; 16) facing from the weapon for fixation of the additional equipment element and mounting surface (7; 18) facing to the weapon and made geometrically and functionally additional in respect to its corresponding contact surface on the weapon so that at the device installed on the weapon the mounting surface (7; 18) at least in individual sections adjoins the above contact surface or is located opposite it with a small gap; with that, magnetic device (21) includes at least two magnetic elements (25; 26) connected by means of yoke (22) from ferromagnetic material or material that is susceptible to magnetisation with formation of a magnet of horseshoe shape or U shape, which is inserted in groove (17) made in supporting plate (15) on the side of surface (16) for fixation of the additional equipment element so that magnet poles are located opposite contact surface on the weapon with at least a small gap.

EFFECT: providing simple and easy fixation on weapon, and mainly small-arms weapon, of an additional equipment element, first of all of a sighting device at low costs for adaptation of an installation device.
