SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a shock absorber (3) for the guide mechanism. The shock absorber of the guide mechanism is designed for pulling out an element of furniture and comprises a guide fixed to the housing of the furniture, and a guide rail, and if necessary, the central rail which increases the length of pulling out. The shock absorber comprises a housing mounted on the guide rail or the guide mounted on the housing of the furniture, at that it is located in the path of motion of the central rail or the guide rail, is made with the ability of elastic deformation at least in the direction of motion of the guide rail and comprises a chamber that takes up the force in the direction of pulling out. The housing is made in the form of corrugated casing.
EFFECT: increase in lifetime without loss of reliability.
