SUBSTANCE: cooling device includes a chamber with a storage compartment, at least one intermediate flange, which is installed in a detachable manner by means of supporting devices that are located on opposite side walls of the compartment. Flange includes at least one fixed flange section and one movable flange section, which are hinged to each other so that movable flange section can be turned relative to fixed flange section between at least two positions of usage. When in the first position, the first end of movable flange section is located near the first end of fixed flange section so that two flange sections form a solid supporting surface to support stored products. Fixed flange section in its opposite side areas is equipped with corresponding side elements, each of which has a fixed hinge part. Each side element has the corresponding part that projects in longitudinal direction beyond the limits of the first end of fixed flange section in cantilever manner and that includes at least one support for supporting the movable flange section when the movable flange section is in the first position of usage.
