FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to metal forming tooling. Roller chase consists of three identical bent shape rolls. Working part of every roll has central globoid surface and identical truncated cone surfaces arranged in symmetry and connected therewith. Radius of circular arc of the generatrix of globoid of revolution does not exceed minimum radius of elastic-plastic flexure required for tube straightening for preset grades of straightening machine. Note here that distance between surfaces of joint between globoid surface and surfaces of truncated cones should make at least the magnitude of axial feed by rotary rollers of maximum-diameter tube per one tube revolution. Straight lines that form truncated cone surfaces runs tangentially to circular arc making said globoid surface through points of intersection with connection surfaces.
EFFECT: higher quality of tube straightening, lower metal input.
