FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy and namely to steel composition used for manufacturing of periodic reinforcement bars for reinforced-concrete structures. Steel contains the following, wt %: carbon 0.20 - 0.29, manganese 1.20 - 0.60, silicium 0.60 - 0.90, phosphorus - not more than 0.040, sulphur - not more than 0.010, chrome 0.01 - 0.25, nickel - not more than 0.30, copper - not more than 0.30, boron 0.001 - 0.005, nitrogen - not more than 0.008 and iron is the rest.
EFFECT: providing required strength class not lower than At800 with σt not less than 800 N/mm2.
