FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: low-pressure turbine comprises rotor, stator with rear bearing, labyrinth seal with inner and outer flanges at stator rear pad. Labyrinth seal of the turbine represents a two-level design. Inner level is composed by two labyrinth seal strips directed to turbine axis and inner surface of labyrinth seal inner flange directed towards turbine setting. Outer level is composed by labyrinth seal strips directed to turbine setting and working surface of labyrinth seal inner flange directed towards turbine axis. Labyrinth seal inner level seal strips feature parallel inner walls with damping ring arranged there between. Labyrinth seal outer flange has outer closed circular air chamber. Circular barrier wall arranged at stator rear support is made between turbine setting and labyrinth seal outer flange. Outer flange working surface is arranged so that ratio of ID at turbine setting outlet to inner flange working surface diameter makes 1.05-1.5.
