SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system for carrying, in particular strap fastening for carrying one or more air cylinders for operation in emergency situations. The system for carrying for use with the breathing apparatus comprises a backrest, and a plurality of straps. The straps are made with the ability to retain the backrest on the user's back while wearing the system for carrying. The system comprises a panel of plastic, which has a predetermined shape. The panel is made with the ability to provide protection of the user against impact effect, when used by the partial absorption and/or dissipation of the impact effect and the elastic deformation in response to an external influence. The external influence is caused by tilting and/or pivoting motion of the user during operation. It returns to its predetermined shape in the absence of external influence. The locking element is made with the ability of attachment to the connecting part of the breathing apparatus.
