FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal forming and can be used for making hollow articles from hardly deformable steels and titanium alloys. Heated semi-finished product is deformed in female die by male die. Cavity forming means composed by wire is continuously fed inside the male die. Male die displacement rate is defined subject to article cross-section area and that of semi-finished product and female die bore with the help of enclosed relationship. Wire of fusible alloy is used. Material melting point T is selected from the relationship: T=(0.52…0.67)·t, where: t is the temperature of semi-finished product heating.
EFFECT: expanded range of products.
