FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: automatic weapon feed system includes a guide neck. The neck consists of two parts: an upper movable one fixed on the weapon and a lower fixed one attached to a magazine with a cartridge belt. The upper movable part of the neck is bent in the form of a loop so that direction of the cartridge belt is provided parallel to the barrel axis with noses of cartridges outwards, and at the weapon inlet with noses of cartridges in firing direction. The movable part of the neck is hinged on a fixed bracket installed on a frame of a combat module. The hinge axis coincides with a horizontal rotation axis of the weapon. The lower fixed part of the neck has a V-shape and is rigidly attached with one end to the above bracket.

EFFECT: reduction of overall dimensions of a firing and cannon plant.
