FIELD: printing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a security element with thermosensitive paint layer. The thermosensitive paint layer covers the first information which is therefore not visually observable. The first information becomes visually observable only at heating the thermosensitive paint layer by the first method. The thermosensitive paint layer in addition to the first information covers the second information. The second information is also not visually observable at certain temperature range, e.g. at normal ambient temperature or at room temperature. The second information becomes visually observable only at heating the thermosensitive paint layer by the second method, which preferably differs from the first heating method. Thus, according to the invention by heating the thermosensitive paint layer by the second method the change of its colour is followed by another geometric distribution or appearance of another geometric pattern than when heated by the second method.
EFFECT: providing of the ability of machine reading during processing of banknotes.
