FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction. A normally closed check valve comprises a body 1, a cover 2 and a stop element 3. The body 1 is made with a cylindrical cavity 4 and a protruding nozzle 5 arranged outside at its one end along the axis of the cylindrical cavity 4, the cavity 6 of which communicates with the cylindrical cavity 4 of the body 1 and which is made with a threaded section 7 for connection of the body 1 to the pipe of the water supply or heating system. The cover 2 closes the cylindrical cavity 4 of the body 1 at the side, opposite to location of the nozzle 5. The stop element 3 has the shape of the disc and is arranged in the cylindrical cavity 4 of the body 1 as capable of free movement along its axis. In the wall 8 of the body 1 at the side of the nozzle 5 there are three air holes 9 parallel to the axis of the cylindrical cavity 4 in the form of arcs around the axis of the cylindrical cavity 4, separated by radial links 22. The stop element 3 at the end 10 at the side to the nozzle 5 is made with a circular bore 11, having in the cross section the shape of "dovetail", in which there is a circular sealing element 12 fixed, which protrudes above the end 10 and has area that closes air holes 9 in the coupling position under action of gravity with the wall 8 of the body 1 at the side of the nozzle 5, and also with three through holes 13, arranged in the central zone of the stop element 3 opposite to the hole 14 of the nozzle 4. The stop element 3 at the end 15 at the side of the cover 2 is made with an axial stem 16, and the cover 2 at the inner side is made with a protrusion 18 with a dead central hole 19, in which there is a stem 16 of the stop element 3 for its reciprocal movement.
EFFECT: expanded arsenal of normally closed check valves, used mostly for installation onto vertical pipes of water supply and heating systems (risers) for liquidation ("collapse") of vacuum created when they are drained, eliminating ingress of dirt and reliably preventing discharge of pressure of fluid medium, which also make it possible to disassemble using simple sanitary tools for preventive works.
