FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of protecting concrete building structures. The method of protecting concrete building structures from the corrosive effect of carbamide via pretreatment of the surface with an impregnating composition, followed by deposition of a paint coat, where the impregnating composition includes a carbamide-formaldehyde precondensate with molar ratio of carbamide to formaldehyde of 1:(2.8-3.5), an acid agent and a vinyl acetate dispersion, with the following content of components, wt %: carbamide-formaldehyde precondensate 89-99, acid agent 0.01-1, vinyl acetate dispersion 0-10.
EFFECT: high penetrating power of the impregnating composition into the concrete, longer working life of concrete structures.
