FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: method includes creation of a cavity in a coal bed by means of cyclic increase and decrease of liquid pressure in a borehole and exposing the bed to low-frequency pressure pulses as liquid pressure in the well increases. Cyclic increase and decrease of liquid pressure is created via a hydraulic multiplier installed on the head, besides, the piston of the smaller area of the working surface of the hydraulic multiplier acts at liquid filling the borehole, the piston of larger area of the working surface is exposed to compressed gas, the volume of liquid portion injected into the bed is determined by the length of travel of the hydraulic multiplier, pressure and speed of liquid injection into the bed is adjusted due to pressure of compressed gas, the ratio of areas of working surfaces of the pistons of the hydraulic multiplier and speed of compressed gas injection.

EFFECT: development of a net of bed cracks around a well.
