FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises drum to accommodate cloth to be dried, air suction device to form airflow to be fed to said drum and air exhaust device to force air from said drum. Condenser serves to heat air fed into the drum via air suction device while evaporator cools air forced from said drum via air exhaust device. Compressor compresses coolant fed from evaporator. Controlled expander expands coolant fed from condenser and features adjustable expansion degree. Proposed method comprises measurement of temperature Tei of coolant fed into evaporator and temperature Tci of coolant fed into compressor. Besides it includes degree of opening of said expander when temperature difference Tci-Tei is lower than preset first magnitude.
EFFECT: higher efficiency.
