FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in image application of leather with the help of appropriate machine. Note here that back is preliminary placed under leather article. Then, said back and article are secured and stretched at worktable. Natural Vaseline is uniformly applied on leather article, its viscosity making 28-36 mm²/s at 50°C. Stencil is selected to apply the image sketch. Black-and-white or colour images are applied with the help of tattoo machine at the room temperature of 21°C to 24°C. Leather article is periodically wiped to remove excess dye by antiseptic solution. Then, leather article is removed from worktable and dried for 7-10 hours at 21-24°C.

EFFECT: accelerated and simplified process.
