SUBSTANCE: invention relates to adapters for manually operated processing machines. An adapter has a body for installation and mounting a drive unit and an operating tool, where the body has two separate parts interconnected via a connecting device including connecting members on the body parts where a functional member is connected with the adapter, and the adapter is installed between two parts of the body and has at least one connecting member fitted to the body connecting member and mating with the body connecting member in the connection position. The body parts represent a handle part and a motive part for accommodating a driving electric motor; the functional member is made as a vibration damper and installed between two parallel rings of the adapter, where the connecting member of the adapter is separated from the functional member on the adapter ring representing the holder of the functional member.
EFFECT: lower noise load during processing machine operation.
