SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to screw elements for multiple shaft screw machines and to the usage of the said screw elements. Technical result is reached by the screw elements for multiple shaft screw machines with screw shafts pairwise rotating in one direction and pairwise accurately cleaning each other by scraping. At that the generating and generated screw profiles are of the following sequence: "compaction section - transition section - channel section - transition section". The compaction section is the sequence of "ridge section - side section - ridge section". The channel section is the sequence of "notch section - side section - notch section". The transition section is the sequence of screw profiles' sections starting with the side section and ending with the side section as well.

EFFECT: maximum possible increase of pressure at minimum possible thermal and mechanical load on a product and minimum possible flow resistance.
