FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: in railway car containing wheelset trucks, coupling gear elements, body with wings (8) mounted to it, having lifting force when moved in air, wing-supporting elements, mechanisms (16) for raising/lowering front/rear portion of wings, each wing is made capable to rock on axis installed in wing-supporting elements. Masses of front and rear portions of wings are balanced relative to axis. Top/bottom (10/9) airfoil surfaces of wing is made corrugated, in particular, has form of sine. Each wing has groove (20) for stem (18) with knuckle (19) movement along the groove. At wing sides, channels are made to limit its rocking. Roof has seal (21) for stem (18). When railway car is moving opposing air stream acting on wings attached to body creates lifting force due to which wheel pressure on railway track is decreased.
EFFECT: longer life of railway track, reduced wear of wheel pairs, reduced fuel and electric power consumption by locomotive, and higher reliability.
