FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to electric engineering and can be used in linear actuators, for example, in railway transportation. A linear electric motor consists of the primary part generating an electromagnetic field and the secondary part converting one type of energy to another. The primary part - an inducer - is made as a fixed block consisting of two plates of a non-magnet and dielectric material with ferromagnetic cores fixed in through grooves and a winding laid between them into the grooves. The secondary part - an armature - is represented by metal strips fixed in parallel to each other with an air gap before polar tips of the primary part (inducer) coil groups to the projected length of the first part movement.
EFFECT: simplification of design and improved operational efficiency.
