FIELD: sports.
SUBSTANCE: flexor (1) is proposed for use in ski binding (2) or mounting plate (3) for cross-country or tourist ski (4). The flexor comprises a protruding shoulder (10) of the flexor and the retaining and positioning part (20), and the protruding shoulder (10) of the flexor is made connected to the retaining and positioning part (20) or integrated with the latter so that the protruding shoulder (10) of the flexor can be rotated and/or displaced relative to the retaining and positioning part (20) around the connection point (21) between the said two elements. The protruding shoulder (10) of the flexor is formed so that the amount of displacement of the protruding shoulder (10) of the flexor as a result of applied force (N) acting on it follows substantially in linear relationship (30) until the first desired amount of displacement (31). To displace the protruding shoulder (10) of the flexor, greater than the first desired amount of displacement (31), the amount of displacement of the protruding shoulder (10) of the flexor as a result of the applied force (N) acting on it follows approximately by an exponential function (32).
EFFECT: improved design of binding.
