FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: plant (200) for processing of articles (204), first of all, car bodies, operates with conveyor system (206). Position transducer (274, 275, 276) is arranged article (204) retainer frame (212) for every degree of freedom. Memory device stores the trajectory of first boundary surface or boundary line (270) that displays hard structure path along article displacement path. Besides, it stores the trajectory of second boundary surface or boundary line (271) that extends ad a distance from said first boundary surface or boundary line 270. Also, stored is the trajectory of outline (273) that represents a path of the article secured at aforesaid retainer frame. Control device (232) responds to transducer signals and said stored data to define if the article secured at retainer frame crosses the second boundary surface or boundary line, or not. In the first case, article is immediately stopped.
EFFECT: ruled out collision of articles with hard structure abutting on motion path.
