FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a composite film for absorbing electromagnetic waves and an apparatus for making such a film. The composite film has a plastic film and a single- or multilayer metal film which is formed on at least one surface of said plastic film. The metal film has thickness of 0.01-10 mcm, and is coated with a plurality of substantially parallel, periodic, linear scratches made in at least two different directions. Said scratches in each direction differ on width and space in between them.
EFFECT: making a composite film with good absorption capacity for electromagnetic waves at different frequencies and low anisotropy absorption capacity for electromagnetic waves.
