FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: backfilling composition contains cement and a complexing agent. Portland cement is used as cement. The complexing agent consists of polyvinyl pyrrolidone, polycarboxylate and service water. It contains ultrafine silica and an antifoaming additive additionally at the following ratio of components, by weight parts: with the following ratio of components in the backfilling composition, by weigh parts: Portland cement 100, polyvinyl pyrrolidone 0.7-0.8, polycarboxylate Melflux 1641F 0.25-0.4, ultrafine silica in the form of silica white BS-120 0.2-0.4, antifoaming additive 0.03-0.04, service water 42-43.

EFFECT: improvement of insulating property, strength and adhesion of the formed cement stone, at simultaneous pumping ability of the backfilling composition and achievement of optimal period of its hardening at low and normal subsurface temperatures during casing cementing and water shutoff treatment in wells.
