FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to controlled hydrodynamic transmissions and can be used for infinitely variable change of a drive machine rotating frequency. A hydrodynamic clutch comprises the primary wheel (2) and the secondary wheel (4) with holes in a disk, a rotating housing (5), a discharge chamber (11), supports (6 and 7) of bearings of a driving rotor (1) and a driven (3) rotor, a power fluid circulation system and a member which control the clutch filling The discharge chamber casing (11) is provided with a radial hole for fitting of a rotary valve (10). The rotary valve (10) is fitted by grooves connecting the clutch work space to the surrounding space under the casing. The fluid level in the clutch is adjusted due to the radial displacement of the power fluid drainage point provided by the rotation of the rotary valve around its axis.
EFFECT: improved energy efficiency of a hydrodynamic clutch, decreased degree of air dispersion in the power fluid.
