FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: tensioner contains body with L-shaped bracket welded to it, connecting upper and lower lugs, calibrated spring, rack with teeth encompassing bracket, and resilient damping rings. The upper lug and body are interconnected by L-shaped bracket. On threaded pull-rod the crown nut is screwed which is fixed by splint on the pull-rod and transfers force to lower lug via head of pivoted on rod profiled bushing and via disk. The disk is installed on top on calibrated spring, and skirt of profiled bushing passes through hole in the disk inside the spring. When the spring is compressed according to preset value of tension in gear the gaps between ring and external side of cup bottom and between lower butt end of profiled bushing skirt and washer are equal.

EFFECT: convenience of operation and maintenance, normalised tension in gear without subsequent instrumental monitoring.
