SUBSTANCE: proposed set of inventions relates to written correspondence automatic processing. Device for flat objects feeding contains accumulating compartment 1 where flat objects are moved in table on their edge in the first movement direction A, separation device 3 made capable to separate the forwardmost flat object in the table from rest portion of stack and for its movement along iron sheet 5 in the second movement direction B perpendicular to the first movement direction A, movable pad 8 adjacent to the mentioned accumulating compartment 1 and forming together with the mentioned sheet 5 feeding cone, extraction device to capture picked flat object separated from stack to be fed in the second movement direction B to conveyor input, and holding device 13 to act on flat object being picked by holding force FR. The separation device 3 is made capable to impart gradually increasing tangential speed to the mentioned picked flat objects so that flat objects could be laid with partial overlapping. The extraction device 10 is separated from separation device 3 by conveyor section 9 located at output of the mentioned feeding cone and being adjacent to accumulating compartment 1 and with extraction device 10 and made capable to move flat objects on their edge in position of partial overlapping one object by the next one. The extraction device 10 is shifted from the mentioned separation device 3 for distance at least equal to maximum length of flat object in this second direction of movement. The holding device 3 is located opposite to extraction device 10. Also, postal sorting machine is proposed containing described device for flat objects feeding.
EFFECT: excluding flat objects multiple capturing, higher sorting quality.
