FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: nickel coat is applied on breech frame front ledge. Breech frame front ledge is subjected to teat treatment with heating and cooling in vacuum. Heat treatment is conducted at 700-710°C with holding for 30-35 minutes at the rate of heating and cooling of 15-20°C a second.
EFFECT: decreased recoil and vibrations, longer life of stock.
