FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to separation of loose materials and can be used in plate screens. Plate web comprises set of stiff plates with their lengthwise edges parallel with those of adjacent plates and arranged to form a working clearance. Every plate is coupled with adjacent plates by at least two hinges to allow mutual turn of the plates around hinge pins located in one clearance. Note here that said hinges can be secured at plate above-screen surface. Plate opposed edges are equipped with alternating ledges and recesses, their shape and sizes being complied. Location of plate edge ledges complies with that of recess at its second edge and that of recess at adjacent plate edge. Depth of ledge penetration in recess of one plate does not exceed 0.15 of recess depth.
EFFECT: higher quality of screening irrespective of material pump sizes.
