SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a system designed to create light effects, in particular, for decorative purposes, including a source (10) of light and a textile plane material (12), transparent for the light source (10) in direction of the face side (16) or illuminated in the reflected light. In accordance with the invention it is suggested that the textile plane material (12) includes a double-layer fabric structure from threads (18) of warp forming a layer (26) of warp threads, and weft threads (20), forming a layer (24) of weft threads adjacent at one side to the layer (26) of warp threads.
