FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: microphone comprises a hollow housing, a protective screen of a sound pickup, having a diaphragm, a moving coil, a magnetic element, a sound pickup switch and an output connector. In the housing, on the side of the protective screen, there is a peripheral channel which is divided by radial light-proof partition walls into identical sections, each section containing at least one light-emitting diode which is connected by conductors to a power supply unit and a direct current source installed in the cavity of the housing. On the outer side of the channel, there is a light filter having coloured areas opposite each section such that the light filter can turn and can be magnetically coupled to the housing, wherein at least one magnetic component is built into the wall of the housing and ferromagnetic components, the number of which is equal to the number of sections, are built into the wall of the light filter.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities by enabling illumination of the microphone.
