FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway track switch control units. Hydraulic control unit contains working fluid circulation circuit; rail tongue displacement control facilities capable to measure time of actuator travel stop facility and actuator travel direction switching facility. Time-measuring facilities represent hydraulic facilities detecting floe parameter change in hydraulic circulation circuit and implementing control of electric switches. Above mentioned facilities implement control from quantity of working fluid supplied by pump. Method to control hydraulic system of point rail displacement includes preliminary setting a time gap for point rail displacement; activation of point rail moving facilities by means of supplying working fluid; time gap measurement; working fluid supplying termination and working fluid supplying circuit preparation for working fluid flow reversal. Time for which working fluid is supplied for execution of the mentioned operation is measured hydraulically by means of determination of working fluid volume supplied by pump.
EFFECT: higher reliability of device operation.
