FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: two-pin monolithic plug contains a monolithic insulating case with a restriction element inside, which is made as a hidden cylindrical cavity filled with elastic current-conducting material. One end of the restriction element is connected to the plug pin connected to the zero service wire while the second end serves to connect the earthing lead in a three-wire cable of a household appliance. Inside the case there is also a cavity with an opening outside and two electric contacts for placement of a miniature neon lamp inside it. One output of the lamp is connected to the metal contact mounted at the plug case; the other output is connected to the end of restriction element connected to the earthing lead in a three-wire cable of a household appliance.
EFFECT: reliable and safe earthing of electric equipment using two-pin plug at complete automation of its manufacturing with reduction in number of process steps.
