FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: electrical setup instrument (1) contains a cap (2) of the instrument for plug adapter fixed in the setup housing by means of bearing frame (3), and front element (4), fixed from the front part, which can be integral or consisting of several parts. The contact elements (6), installed in a cap (2) of the instrument (1), are connected to mains voltage and are designed for reception of contact pins (11) of instrument plug. The front element (4) includes the functional module (7), which has a rectangular body enclosed by a frame (8) of the front element. The functional module (7) has an adequate arrangement of contacts with reference to the instrument plug ensuring the possibility of inserting of contact pins (11) of the functional module (7) into contact elements (6) of the cap (2) of the instrument with the possibility for socket installation.

EFFECT: possibility for variable use of the setup instrument performing alternative functions, which can be easily converted according to the varying requirements at the place of installation.
