FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: for the purpose of improving the efficiency of oil cooling in an oil system, cooling capacity of fuel delivered to the afterburner in the course of engine operation in reheat power mode, is used in a fuel-oil heat exchanger. For the above the fuel-oil heat exchanger is made in the form of two sections in which fuel cavities in heat exchanging matrices are made as separate ones and are connected to different fuel supply main lines (to the main chamber or afterburner), and the oil cavities are communicated with each other via a controlled two-position distribution valve.
EFFECT: improved reliability of engine operation due to the provision of stable pressure in the oil supply main line at switching the engine operation modes which is achieved by balancing of the hydraulic characteristics of oil ducts for oil flow.
