SUBSTANCE: present method relates to radar and particularly to active query-response radar systems, and can be used to control movement of both surface ships and aircraft in adverse weather conditions, right up to zero visibility. The system which implements the present method comprises a movement control station and a transponder mounted on the controlled vessel, and made in a certain manner.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of a known method owing to accurate determination of velocity vectors v1 and v2 of the first and second antennae of the controlled vessel in adverse weather conditions.
