FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry, and can be used in the design of the grain combine harvester for harvesting chaff. The device for harvesting chaff comprises a chaff-wadboard, a trough-shaped screw, a fan, an air-pressure line, and a hopper-precipitator. At the end of the screw a comminution device is located. On the frame of the harvester an extender of the harvester frame is attached. The extender comprises an articulated dumper of containers. The dumper is supported by cables of the lifting and lowering mechanism. The containers for harvesting chaff rest on the dumper. The containers are attached to the upper part of the hopper-precipitator with automatic packer.
EFFECT: increased productivity of harvesting chaff and its transportability is provided.
