FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to railway bogies arrangement, in particular to constant contact side-bearing pads. Bearer contains body with wall the central axis of which is central axis of side-bearing pad assembly, and composite cover. The cover is positioned in operational combination with body and contains the first movable element and the second movable element resting on the first element. Part of the second element is located above the body and has friction surface which is friction surface of the cover. Spring resiliently presses cover friction surface to railway car body thus forming frictional contact. Elements of cover have interacting sloped sliding surfaces positioned at an angle of approximately 20-30° to horizontal plane.
EFFECT: higher reliability and better energy absorption in side-bearing pad assembly.
