SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the visual art, namely the field of painting and graphic articles, as well as arts and crafts. The method of performing artworks comprises layer application on a substrate of adhesive and paint layer, and on the paper substrate the liquid toning layer of dairy product is applied, on the wet surface of which the means for partial deformation and change in the thickness of the liquid toning layer of dairy product is placed on various sections of the paper substrate, and then the toning layer is dried at natural ambient temperature and then heat treatment of the toning layer of the paper substrate is carried out, after termination of heat treatment of the toning layer the adhesive decorative pattern is applied on the surface of the paper substrate, made by the author in the form of separate spots, lines, contours, images, geometric shapes, after drying of the adhesive decorative pattern on top of it on the paper substrate with paints in one or more layers the decorative pattern or the decorative image created by the author is applied.

EFFECT: achievement of increased decorativeness of painting, graphic and decorative works by expanding the variety of colours and diversity of textural property of these works, creation of compound texture, textural property through expansion of the materials used.
