FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engine production, particularly, to fabrication of cellular seas for gas turbines. Endless tape is continuously fed to staggered notches at spacings equal to cell height. Notch length makes half the cell perimeter. Said tape is crimped so that crimp shape mates the shape of cell half. Crimped tape is folded along notches and gaged in height. After feed of said tape staggered notches are made cross the entire tape length. Note here than jumper between said notches equals the cell side. Tape edges are contracted at both sides to tape angle of 10-20 degrees. Then, crimping is made lengthwise over tape width to fold crimper tape along made notches. Now, after gaging over height, cellular tape is soldered on both sides along contact faces of the cells.

EFFECT: improved strength of cellular seal.
