FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: locking device and method of its application (versions) are related to the field of human activity, and more specifically to the equipment of entrance doors with safety devices, that prevent entrance of unauthorized persons. Technical result permits to eliminate the possibility of penetration into the living room of unauthorized persons at opening of the door lock and gives the possibility to control partial opening of the door leaf. Locking device includes a base 1, attached to the door leaf 2, clamp 3, attached to the jamb 4 of the door leaf 2, lock 5, inserted into the base 1, and chain 6, connecting the lock 5 with the clamp 3. In one of the options, the spring 7 for fixing (control) the position of partial opening of the door leaf 2 to the length of the chain 6, is installed in the lock 5. In other option the shaped groove 8, permitting to open partially the door leaf 2 to the length of chain 6, plays the same role.

EFFECT: method of application of the locking device consists in the use of locking devices described above.
