FIELD: personal use articles.

SUBSTANCE: furniture item contains a horizontally positioned plate and a front element installed so that to enable movement in the furniture item body. The front element is functionally related to the horizontal guides oriented parallel to each other and perpendicular to the furniture item front surface. The front element is designed so that enable movement from the position wherein the element is located flush with the furniture item front surface and parallel to the furniture item front surface into the position wherein the element is displaced inwards the furniture item body and is parallel to the furniture item front surface. A carriage designed so that to enable directed passing along the guides is installed on the front element rear turned in the direction opposed to the front surface. The furniture item contains an electric drive ensuring the said possibility of the front element movement.
