SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in radar stations with linear co-phased arrays. Quadrature components of the signal complex envelope are formed. Each of these components is subjected to conversion into a digital form, then the digital signal is distributed between the antenna elements of a co-phased array. After that, the signal is multiplied by the corresponding first complex coefficient in each of the antenna elements and then additionally multiplied by the second complex coefficient. Then the quadrature modulation of the signal is performed. Next, the signal is converted to an analogue form, amplified and radiated by an antenna element of the co-phased array.

EFFECT: expansion of the linear co-phased array bandwidth when forming the array pattern in a digital form and radiating a linear frequency modulated signal.
