FIELD: packaging industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to standing packet of the heat sealable synthetic film. In its basic design the standing packet consists of a front wall (1) and a rear wall (2), which are connected at their longitudinal edges (3) by sealing joints (4), and also of the bottom (5) of film, folded inwards, and also the lid (6) of the film, folded inwards. The front wall (1) and the lid (6) of the film are connected by transverse sealing joint (7). In the connection area between the front wall (1) and the lid (6) of the film a closing device (8, 8') is located, which is tightly connected to the adjacent surfaces of the lid (6) of film and the front wall (1). In accordance with the invention, the handle (9, 9') of the film is fixed approximately in the middle of the rear wall (2). The subject of the invention is also a method of manufacturing the standing packet.

EFFECT: due to location of the handle of the film on the rear wall of the standing packet with leakage of the content the packet is retained so that the closing device is certainly located at the lowest place, which enables to carry out the metered feeding of the content and smooth removal of residues.
