FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: slab are produced from steel, its composition including in wt %: 0.14-0.19 C, 0.17-0.37 Si, 1.1-1.6 Mn, 0.06-0.12 V, 0.7-1.1 Cr, 0.5-1.0 Ni, 0.20-0.35 Mo, 0.02-0.06 Al, 0.02-0.05 Ti, 0.001-0.005 B, 0.002-0.030 Ca, S≤0.008, P≤0.015, Fe making the rest. Now, they are hot-rolled at specified temperature range, water-quenched and tempered. Hot rolling is executed between 1280°C and 800°C. Quenching is performed in two steps. First, at 940-970°C for sheets to be reheated and quenched at 840-870°C. Tempering is executed at 500-560°C.
EFFECT: higher wear resistance and yield.
