FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to water supply engineering, in particular to safety devices of lock gates. Safety device comprises flexible barrier, consisting of two parts, one end of which is connected with dampers and tensioners, located on opposite sides of lock, through the guides and deflection elements. Coupling units are fixed on the other ends of flexible barrier. Coupling unit of the first part of flexible barrier is joined via the flexible rod, having a drive, with one of the wings of lock gates and is provided with hook. The second wing of lock gates is provided with catch hook, designed with possibility to engage - disengage with the coupling unit of the second part of flexible barrier.

EFFECT: use of invention will improve the operation reliability of the safety device of lock gates.
