SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of controlling the auxiliary system "driver assistant" and can be used to optimise the efficiency parameters of working bodies of the agricultural harvester. The system comprises a computing unit and at least one display unit. The computing unit is made with the ability to process data generated by onboard machine sensors, external data and data that can be recorded in the computing unit. The system "driver assistant" with regard to at least the choice of available data overcomes the critical operating modes of agricultural working machine through the fact that efficiency parameters of agricultural working machine are optimised using interactive communication in everyday conversational language between the operator of the agricultural working machine and the system. Through the system "driver assistant" when rejecting the optimised efficiency parameters the optimisation of alternative parameter of efficiency is offered. The operator of agricultural working machine by confirming or rejecting the alternative operating parameter influences the optimisation of alternative operating parameter.

EFFECT: use of invention provides an optimised mode of operation of agricultural machine without excessive guarding of the operator.
