FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: according to this method the voltage in disabled phase wire of the overhead transmission line is measured by means of electromagnetic (measurement) transformer. After two periods of industrial frequency after generation of command to disconnect the linear cut-out switches of damaged phase within a sliding time interval equal to one period of industrial frequency, the medium value of the measured voltage (um) and amplitude of its industrial component (u~) are calculated. The correlation of the medium value with the voltage amplitude of industrial frequency K=um/u~ is determined and the signal R is processed by linear digital low-pass filter with a cut-off frequency 3-4 times less industrial one. At the moment, when the module of the signal K* at the output of the linear digital filter exceeds a threshold value, the quenching period (tquen) is registered, the fact of quenching of feeding arc is registered, and the permitting command for reclosing of linear cut-out switches of the disabled phase is generated.
EFFECT: simplification of algorithm of processing of voltage in the disabled phase, decrease of labour input of implementation of the method and improvement of reliability.
