SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used for irrigation of agricultural and forest crops with waste waters. The method of surface irrigation comprises treatment of bands of the irrigated land surface, coating the bands with synthetic film, on a part of the surface of which, facing the heads of the bands, an agent is previously applied that inhibits pathogenic microflora in irrigation water as the agent inhibiting pathogenic microflora in irrigation water, encapsulated powder of chloronitrophenol is used in a dose providing the chloronitrophenol concentration in the irrigation water from 0.0001 to 0.001%.
EFFECT: object of the invention is inhibition of pathogenic mycotic objects in waste irrigation water.
